LATOMIA Vafiohoriou S.A. is a subsidiary company of V. TSOKANI S.A. ans has undertaken the exploitation procedures in a quarry of aggegate materials in the region of Kilkis Polykastro. The annual production is about 1.000.000 tons.
For the above activity, new machinery is selected, which consists of trucks (Dumpers), trucks, loaders and drilling machines. In this production unit ten employees are occupied.
Aggregate materials are channeled tothe region of Kilkis and the wider region of Central Macedonia. The quarry has already started the certification process in accordance with international model of Management Quality ISO 9001:2000 and its productswill follow the requirements of European standards CE EN 12620:2002, EN 13242:2002, EN 13043:2002, EN 13450:2002.
